Adana Abbas-Sıdıka Çalık Anatolian High School teachers went to Germany within the scope of the European Union Erasmus+ KA229 School Partnerships Project, which was accepted by the EU Education and Youth Programs Center Presidency, and realized the third mobility and participated in various activities.

Abbas-Sıdıka Çalık Anatolian High School has two ERASMUS+ Projects accepted in the 2019-2022 academic year. With the declaration of a pandemic in the world due to Covid_19 in 2020, the activities were suspended for a while and the projects were extended until 2022.


The project, in which one school each from Germany, Italy, Romania, Estonia and the Republic of North Macedonia are partners, carries out various activities in partner countries at regular intervals within the scope of the project named "Multiculturality-Diversity, Integration, Equal Opportunities for Everyone" based on the cultural exchange of countries.

The Erasmus+ project team, which participated in the events held in Fürstenfeldbruck, the host Germany, between 28 November and 4 December 2021, consisted of 15 teachers from all guest country partners, 20 students from the host country and a large number of teachers, with a total of 50 people. 3 teachers from Abbas-Sıdıka Çalık Anatolian High School participated in the project. It was carried out in the form of staff mobility due to Covid-19.

English Teacher HATİCE ÇAĞLAR, the coordinator of the project; the subject of the project is multiculturalism, unity in diversity, providing equal opportunities for everyone; He stated that the aim of the project is cultural exchange of students from different countries, getting to know the diversity of cultures in Europe through the eyes of young people, getting to know each other, understanding, combining, and sharing their differences and common aspects with each other. They made presentations in English on the topics of "Unity in Diversity", "Immigration in Our Countries, Integration of Immigrant Students in Our Schools", "Education of Students with Special Needs in Our Schools" and "Multiculturalism", together with the German immigration officer and representatives of other countries. He stated that they participated in teleconferences. He also stated that they participated in various events and improvisational theater activities prepared and presented by German students, participated in workshops prepared by the host school, worked intensively for a week and had a productive project activity.

Project coordinator HATİCE ÇAĞLAR stated that by participating in the classes at Viscardi Gymnasium High School, they learned about the German education system and had the opportunity to compare it with their own education systems; He added, "We are happy to have represented our country in the best possible way with our fellow teachers."

Hatice Çağlar, within the scope of the program, visited historical and cultural places in the cities of Munich, Augsburg and Fürstenfeldbruck in Germany in accordance with the purpose of the project; He said that they visited the historical university, city council, ancient theater and museums, they had the opportunity to get to know the folkloric features of the region, and they also visited the Municipality of Fürstenfeldbruck, where the Viscardi Gymnasium high school is located, as a team, that the mayor hosted the Erasmus+ team in his office, made an informative presentation about the city, and He added that they were satisfied with the municipality and that they were satisfied with the hospitality of the host Germany.

Finally, the project coordinator ÇAĞLAR added that the next mobility of the project will be carried out to Macedonia in February and to Estonia in April, and that they will host the project team in June.
